Client-side image map

Database-driven

Extranet
The distributed network formed when external users or clients are allowed remote, password-protected access to an internal web such as an intranet. Often used to refer to a password-protected web site, such as a project site.
E-zine
Short for electronic magazine. Also called web zine.
Front door
The first screen of a site.
Gateway Pages
A gateway page exists solely for the purpose of driving traffic to another page. They are usually designed and optimized to target one specific keyphrase. They are written for search engines to achieve high rankings and hopefully drive traffic to the main site. Our gateway pages are optimized to be beneficial for the end user as well as the search engine spiders.
Interagency Contingency Planning Regulation
A regulation written and imposed by the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council concerning the need for financial institutions to maintain a working disaster recovery plan.
ICON

The combined screen elements that separate the user from the complex workings of a program or machine.
Keywords
Keywords are words, which are used in search engine queries. SEO is the process of optimizing web pages for keywords so that they rank highly in the results returned for search queries.
Keyphrases
Keyphrases are multi-word phrases used in search engine queries.
Keyword Density
Keyword density is important since search engines use this information to categorize a site's theme, and to determine which terms this site is relevant to -- the perfect keyword density will help archive higher search engine positions. Keyword density needs to be balanced correctly (too low and you will not get the optimum benefit, too high and your page might get flagged for 'keyword-spamming').
Meta Tags
They are information inserted into the "head" area of your web pages. Other than the title tag, information in the head area of your web pages is not seen by those viewing your pages in browsers. Instead, Meta information in this area is used to communicate information that a human visitor may not be concerned with. Meta tags, for example, can tell a browser what "character set" to use or whether a web page has self-rated itself in terms of content.
Mappings
The clear relationship between a tool and its purpose, which allows users to predict the results of using that tool.
Page Rank
The PageRank system is used by the popular search engine Google to help determine a page's relevance or importance. In other words, a page rank results from a "ballot" among all the other pages on the [[World Wide Web]] about how important a page is. A hyperlink to a page counts as a vote of support.
Project Site
A password-protected web site used to share information among project team members.
Repack
Repair bad Keywords and Keyphrases.

Vital Records
Records or documents, for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons, cannot be irretrievably lost or damaged without materially impairing the organization's ability to conduct business.
Walkthrough
